Herman Katz is proud to announce that Piero Sauñe Casas, Law Clerk at the firm, has co-authored an article published in the New York Litigator (Vol. 30, No. 2), a publication of the Commercial and Federal Litigation Section of the New York State Bar Association.

The article, titled “Understanding New York City’s Good Cause Eviction Law: Requirements, Implications, and Developments,” examines the key provisions and evolving legal landscape surrounding New York City’s recently enacted Good Cause Eviction Law. The piece provides valuable insights into how the statute affects landlords, tenants, and practitioners navigating housing law in New York.

In addition to co-authoring the article during law school, this issue also marks Sauñe Casas’s first appearance as Publications Committee Chair for the NY Litigator, reflecting his growing involvement and leadership within the Bar Association’s Commercial and Federal Litigation Section.
